The Truth Hurts!

This is an embarrassing confession but yesterday I was cleaning up the house and while in the middle of the process Rory asks "who's coming over?" AUGH!!! Am I really that bad! I admit I'm not the best housewife but I thought I was a little better off then that! Anyway I will just look on it as some constructive criticism and work harder at doing better! Plus maybe this will be an ego boost for some of you, just think to yourself ..."at least my house isn't as bad as Rachel's!"... it's okay I'll take one for the team!

If it makes you feel any better, once I was getting Camille dressed for the day, and she asked "where are we going, mom?" Hmmmm...maybe I need to get her dressed more often!

Oh no, I have a bad one. When I get dressed (like not in pajama-like clothes) the kids ask, "Where are you going Mom?" Also if I'm cleaning they ask who is coming over or if I'm baking they ask who it's for. Sad.

that is so perfectly said rachel! My kids often say the same types of things..Daylan will also say as I get him dressed for the day same as Cindy's little girl.."where are we going MOm?" We stay in our pj's way too often. Last week people from our new RS pres. were coming over so i was hurrying to tidy up ...all 3 kids asked if someone was coming over too! It really is so funny in a sad sort of way.

yesterday my girls never got out of their jammies and I haven't done much to really clean my house in 3 months, so you are doing better than I am.
